The project, GreenLens: Environmental and Climate Journalism Training, is an Erasmus+ KA220-YOU (Strategic Cooperation in the Youth Field) project prepared by Anadolu and submitted to the Turkey National Agency. It aims to provide educational opportunities for young journalists and media professionals in the fields of environment and climate change.
A Global First in Climate Change and Environmental Protection Journalism
GreenLens is the first European Union (EU) project applied for by Anadolu and has been selected as one of the eight projects out of more than 1,000 applications. The project will be the first-ever environmental journalism training led by a news agency, pioneered by Anadolu.
Gender Equality and Global Participation: 100 Media Professionals to Be Trained
As part of the GreenLens project, 100 media professionals from Romania, North Macedonia, and France will be trained, including 50 women and 50 men. The training aims to raise awareness and enhance public knowledge on climate change, sustainability, and environmental protection.
